If your elevator is in relatively good condition but needs improvements in speed, safety, or efficiency, targeted upgrades allow you to upgrade specific components instead of replacing the entire system.

Targeted upgrades can include any of the individual items that follow or several of the items can be performed together, short of complete replacement of the existing elevator controller, which would then trigger complete modernization of the system:

• Controller CPU Board & Drive System Upgrade – Faster, smoother, and more reliable operation.
• Door Operator & Infrared Door Detector Upgrade – Provides smoother and more reliable door operation, as elevator door equipment is the root cause of the majority of elevator service and repair requests, as the moving door components are what the riding public comes in contact with the most.
• Solid State Motor Starter Upgrade – Solid-state starters deliver faster floor-to-floor times, optimized motor start-up, and reduced downtime since there are no mechanical contacts to wear out. They also protect the system from power irregularities by detecting low voltage, phase reversal, overload conditions, and loss of an incoming phase. Additional advantages include lower power consumption—which reduces electricity costs—and less strain on motor windings.
• Hydraulic Pump Unit Upgrade – Consists of a new, upgraded Hydraulic Valve, Motor, Pump, Victaulic Fittings, Muffler, and Oil Reservoir to provide increased operation and reliability.
• New Roller Guides – Improving ride quality through upgrading original fixed slide/roller guides with spring-loaded roller guides.
